For Doctor Who’s 50th Anniversary I thought it might be fun to remake a couple of “golden oldie” Babelcolour videos. One I returned to was my old revamped Pertwee title sequence.
I had many of the original elements used in the 2008 version and consequently rebuilt a new sequence around them. I incorporated a tumbling CGI render of the TARDIS created on green-screen by YouTube user richsc21. Despite the cool opening few seconds I was never particularly happy with the way I handled the closing section and, despite the video passing 10,000 views, I opted to unlist it from my channel for a couple of years.
