In 2006 I embarked on a private project to colourise episode three of ‘Planet Of The Daleks’ which only existed within the BBC archives as a monochrome film print. I completed a four minutes test sequence using the low-res VHS release, before it was announced that the US colourisation firm Legend Films were being commissioned to restore the episode. My work therefore went unseen and exists now merely as a curiosity.
